Harry’s Big Day in San Diego

We planned to take a day trip to San Diego, maybe visiting some museums, the beach and a nice restaurant. But Harry was acting weird that day, and we decided we shouldn’t leave him by himself all day. So our day in San Diego was dictated by the dog’s tagalong. And it turned out to be a really fun day. (Nothing was wrong with Harry after all.. he had some hair caught in his collar’s buckle and it was causing him to yelp randomly until we figured out the mystery Lol.)

DOG BEACH, SAN DIEGO, CA

Harry had the time of his life to date. He loved running free on the beach with packs of dogs.
After the beach we walked around the adjacent neighborhood, which is super cool. And it would only cost $1.5 million for a 1,500 sf home! JD wanted espresso, and naturally a sidewalk espresso stand appeared before us, lol. So we sat outside and had a snack and dazzled at how tall the palm trees were.

BALBOA PARK’s DOG PARK, SAN DIEGO, CA

So then Harry wrangled us into taking him to the bark park. It was great. It was enormous.

It was a great day trip to San Diego — Thanks to Harry! We didn’t wind up eating at a nice restaurant, but instead had our first Indian (native american) fry bread tacos outside of a gas station. There were tables and a vendor. The tacos were delicious! Random but fun. Like the whole day.😄

PALM SPRINGS AERIAL TRAM, CA

On a different day we took a ride on the Palm Springs Aerial Tram. It takes you up into the San Jacinto Mountains to an elevation of 8,500 ft. There is a 30-40 degree temperature change from the desert floor.

There was snow at the top! Definitely worth the ride.

DATE PALMS

We’re still in love with the date palms. We stayed here the previous year, and still can’t get over the view, especially at sunset.❤️

  1. WOW! Thanks! What a life you all have and you sure deserve it. Even Harry looks happy! It is almost 2AM here and I got up and turned this puter on and loved watching your life. Skylar is sleeping here and I can’t wait til morning to show her the pics. Stay safe . Love ya! Gramma……PS We had frost yesterday. I’m ready for spring already> lol
